Hello folks, those of you who’ve been kind enough to drop by. I want to let you know I’ve just moved my blog over to a domain I got a while back but haven’t gotten the time to fix up until now.

My new blog url is http://themobileme.net.

This will spare you from having to type the extremely long url of this blog. Please expect that this “old” blog will become a lot less updated since I’ll be posting any updates over on the new site.

This isn’t goodbye. I’m not going to totally abandon this site. I might change the content and blog more about life who knows?

Be seeing you at themobileme.net!

I’ve been a bit busy lately with some additional stuff placed on my plate. But I’ll make up for it over the weekend. Do come back and check this blog out over the weekend. You should see something new.

ShakeSMS

In the meantime, are your fingers tired of pressing keys after all that SMS texting? Well here’s a way to read your SMS messages without having to touch a key at all, that is if your phone has a built-in accelerometer. It’s called ShakeSMS a new app in the works which you can install on Nokia phones running Symbian. All you have to do in order to read a new incoming text message is to shake the phone for it to open the message and shake it once more when done to get back to the idle screen. That’s all, instead of having to press some keys to unlock the phone, read the message, return to the idle screen and lock the pad again.

Like, how lazy can you get, ayt? Lol.

To anyone who’ll ever find themselves reading this, welcome!

What is a techie? Well based on Merriam-Webster Online a techie is “a person who is very knowledgeable or enthusiastic about technology and especially high technology.”

Based on that definition I consider myself more of the enthusiastic type of techie. Enthusiastic enough to share what I consider notable news on the technology front to anyone who can spare a few seconds of their day to read the few words that my feeble mind can come up with.

So welcome once again and hope to see you return to this corner of the web!
